How to Use Lookups in DTS

Here we're going to call the lookup lkp_AuthorDetails

Lookup details

After we've entered the details we can then get on to the task of defining the lookup's query. To do this we click on the ellipses button and we come to the screen shown in Figure 1.4. We have entered the query into the window already. The way to look at this query is to say. I want the first name and the last name of the author who has an identication number of something which I am going to be passing you when the data pump runs.
