Sometimes you may notice unwanted or orphan connections shown in the
drop-down box of a task or connection. These connections are no longer
visible in the designer worksheet, but obviously still exist within the
package.
To remove these connections:
- Drop a new connection onto the worksheet.
- Immediately click Existing Connection and select the
unwanted connection from the drop-down box.
- Click OK. This bound the unwanted connection to a visible icon.
- Select and delete this connection.
